Congratulations to our 2023-24 Hh scholarship winner, Kambria Schaffer.
A self-described “big, big gamer” who’s massively competitive yet loves rooting for others, Kambria jokes that school can get in the way of her real love – video gaming.
“At the moment,” she says, “My obsession is Baldur’s Gate 3.”
In case you’re as old as we are, and the last video game you tried was “Pong,” we’ll save you the Google search. “Baldur’s Gate” is a popular video game series based on the role-playing style of Dungeons & Dragons.
(If you don’t know what D&D is, you’re on your own. Hey, we only have time to explain so much.)
But Kambria is more than a gamer. She’s passionate about art and design and highly motivated to make her dream career a reality – no matter the obstacles she faces. Thanks to her hard work and talent, she’s already won several design awards and been elected president of the graphic design club at SFCC.
So, whether we’re talking gaming or design, it’s clear that Kambria is no noob. We wish her luck in her future career.
And her next boss fight.
