Helveticahaus values the users of its website; your privacy and trust are therefore very important to us. We recognize that you may be concerned about our use and disclosure of the personally identifiable information that we collect when you use our website. The following describes the information that we collect from you, how it’s collected, and what we do with it. Use of the Helveticahaus website constitutes your acceptance of and agreement to this.

We use personal information primarily for our own internal purposes, such as providing, maintaining, evaluating, and improving the website; fulfilling requests for information; producing and shipping the products that you order; and providing customer support.

For example, if you sign up to receive a Helveticahaus newsletter, we will use the email address you provide to send you the newsletters. If you communicate with us regarding this website, we will collect any information that you provide to us in any such communication.

When you enter sensitive information such as a credit card number during your order process, we encrypt that information using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. We do not store your credit card number in any way, whether in our files or on our website.

You have the opportunity to choose to prevent your personal information from being used for certain purposes. For example, if you purchase a product but do not wish to receive any additional marketing material from us, you can indicate that preference on our order form. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletters and promotional communications, you may opt out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each newsletter or communication – or by emailing us at info@helveticahaus.com. You can also opt out of certain communications through the account management screen.

Helveticahaus accepts payments made via credit/debit card and gift certificates. We do not accept checks or money orders at this time. You can safely enter your entire credit card number via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information. Your credit card will be charged at the time you place your order, after which you will receive an email confirmation with your receipt.

Helveticahaus is located in the state of Washington. State laws stipulate that all orders shipped within the state are subject to sales tax, the rates of which are based on the shipped-to address. We do not charge sales tax on the purchase of gift certificates; however, items purchased with gift certificates will be taxed accordingly.

Helveticahaus does not share, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties for their promotional purposes.
