Our region’s colleges turn out some pretty great talent – I mean, look at us – which is why we felt reasonably confident when we turned to SFCC’s first-year graphic design students and asked them to take a whack at designing a Helveticahaus Tt. We saw tons of great concepts, but one in particular kept jumping out at us. In a design that’s clean and precise enough to impress Massimo Vignelli himself, Margeux Kliewer created an homage to the NYC Subway signage system. We call it Hh Train. Unlike the real HH Train – which operated in Brooklyn for only 10 years – we think this one is here to stay.
